We pride ourselves on impeccable service and store cleanliness as we consider all patrons an extension of family. Hourly inspections, cleanings and simple kind gestures (carrying out groceries, providing recommendations, etc.) are witnessed time & time again by many of our shoppers.
If we wouldn’t bring it home to our family we won’t sell it you yours!
Under New Ownership
AL & Lauren Lewis are excited to announce our purchase of Richmond Market as of 10/1/23. We thank Peter & Jeanine Caswell for their customer care and level of quality provided under their ownership. Every day we strive to offer the highest level of service matched with unique and value packed products. AL & Lauren bring their own set of expertise & knowledge to the Richmond Market team. AL has decades of food experience – from 3 retail markets with restaurants as Chef/Owner; producing, processing and selling seafood; to Directing a seafood division for a large grocery store chain.
AL also owns another company dedicated to supplying white tablecloth, fine dining establishments, private chefs and high-end resorts around the country, offering 1200 premium quality items. Lauren grew up cooking & baking alongside her mother & grandmothers. She learned to set a beautiful festive table for any occasion-even a simple dinner-from her mother. From her father she learned it’s always important to have extra on hand because people are hungry for good food and more people will show up than anticipated. During her freelance Creative Directing career in the home furnishings industry, she collaborated with top chefs and food stylists on cookbooks published by Williams-Sonoma and has worked next to her husband AL for years.
AL & Lauren will continue to offer a wide variety of house made and private label prepared meals with weekly featured specials. Richmond Market is expanding offerings in the Deli with more seasonal salads, Hot Soups. The Seafood Dept will match any in the tristate area. Specialty Meat & Game, Duck will continue to be a staple. Produce is being reset and we will constantly strive for it to be stocked with the freshest items you look for. Our new Charcuterie, dry and specialty goods section will soon be in place! We invite you to come in to Richmond Market again, for the first time, we know you will make us your preferred shopping destination.
A Unique Shopping Experience
Inside our little market we fit a large variety of items. We are always stocked with the freshest produce, bringing in unique types of produce whenever available. We also carry a wide selection of fresh and frozen meat, one of our biggest sellers being game meats!
Find things such as ground camel, whole ducks, wild boar sausage and more, as well as your usual chicken beef and amazing fresh steaks. We are also well known for our unique selection of grocery items, gourmet pastas and sauces, pickled items such as pickled eggs and pickled green beans.
Local items make up a good portion of our grocery items as well, we bring in locally made products whenever possible. We have everything on your grocery list and then some!
